SJS make an ongoing collection of original scarves. Each one thinks about a different quality of a scarf: Softness, warmth, and length and responds with surreal logic to create an architectural accessory.

Insulation Scarf

Insulation Scarf takes the universal drawing symbol for insulation and applies it to an actual piece of human insulation: The scarf you wrap around your neck. Available in black on grey or red on black.

Scale Bar Scarf

Scale Bar Scarf is a real life scale bar. Escaped from architectural drawing into the world. Its 2m long, with scale divisions in black and white so you can really size things up. Available here.

Plank Scarf is an uncanny accessory: A scarf knitted with a two colour wood effect pattern to mimic the form of a plank. Here though solid form becomes soft, a plank you can wrap around yourself and whose splinters at each end are yarn fringes.
